Warriors had everything to prove after their fluke ring no one respects. Problem is they, like you, thought they could prove it in December. When they played actual big games in June they choked, of course.

We had the best record that season so technically we were the most consistent

If we're using injuries as an excuse that would mean Cavs coming back from 3-1 was an even bigger fluke

If you ever played any team sports this is a big game, the best in the east vs best in the west, the two teams that have met in the last 2 NBA finals are playing on Christmas Day....it's a big game.
