i am still trying to grasp what defense they are running..no help defense.. no switching defense..
this team should be one of the best blitzing defense in the league.. i know they are keeping their energy to run at the basket.. but you gotta have some defense scheme..its like.. guard your player...then we run...

The real problem is Lonzo is getting his minutes yo yoed with. I fukk wit Rondo but he assist hunts too much and bogs down the offense. Lonzo should be getting 30+ minutes a game every night. But Luke is trying to win as much as possible to save his job so I see why he keeps fukkin with the rotations..

On another note, I personally never wanted Lebron on the Lakers. Would have rather had Kawhi or hell even PG than him...

I knew they were going to be bad, but I didn't think they'd be able to frustrate LeBron. Not playing defense always comes down to lack of desire.

I thought and still think he can do both, but the defense has got to get better and Bron needs to lead it. If they see him getting after it, the others will follow.

Lakers straight trash

1 (admittedly) terrible game. Horrific coaching. Defensive assignments being ignored, 1 player switching on defense.. the other not switching, lack of effort, lack of energy, and just AGAIN not closing out on defense by important players. Let’s be real: it’s terrible.

But.. it’s 1 game.

4-6 is not great, but it’s not horrific. If we win 40% of 82 games.. that’s 33-49. Ok that’s trash. But we’ve had some tough teams, the winning % will be way higher against <500 and non-Playoff teams and when they get it going they can really steamroll oppponents (see Mavericks).

We need: a starting line up. One. Defensive discipline. Rebounding on both sides. Closing out on defense. Communication on defense (when switching especially and in transition.. no easy open dunks). Offensively we are great, but defense will make or break everything. Also: less Bron ball. I know, I am hype af Bron’s there too but we have Zo and Rondo, real high IQ PG: let them get their 10 assists each every game. Let’s be less predictable than offense reset Bron ball only - with a mix of Beon ball and off the ball LeBron with a true PG he and Zo/KuzBI/Josh etc can score even more with JaVale there for dunks/easy baskets.
