I know its kinda sound crazy but new orleans is probably the easiest city to not go to jail in for murder, its so many known killers walking the streets out here
aint it some 60-day rule out there that be letting murder suspects go free?

Yea basically thats it

so basically, the catch 22 is dont get caught or theyre going to throw the book at you 3x.

P fukked up puttin NL on Silkk shoulders. He shoulda focused on Fiend, Mac, Slim, and Mystikal.

The whole Mac situation is disgusting. Louisiana is a corrupt ass state as is, the fact that Mac had talent and something to say made him a dangerous element in their eyes imo.

yea i agree with most of this. P messed up when he started running his label like an old wrestling territorial promotion. that and he didnt seem to care about rap after '98, not even his own music unless it was a TRU or 504 album. dude ruined his own legacy with those post-98 solos. he shouldve delegated more authority to KLC & them to run the music end.

much respect to silkk, he did indeed deserve his push. he had hits & star-power but he shouldnt have been pushed harder than mystikal.

and yea, fiend, mac, slim, etc shouldve got pushed better than they did. sad thing is, it seems like they were gonna use mac more. he started anchoring hits, but they werent released until after he caught that case:sad: but from what i hear, P couldve got him out if he hooked him up with better lawyers. i dont know if he distanced himself from mac cuz it wouldve been a bad look for c-murder's new case or what.

cash money was gonna shine regardless, but no limit couldve outlasted them seeing that they had more talent. as soon as cash money hit that dry run of albums in '01, no limit couldve started to pass them again. and they couldve blew straight by them when turk, bg & juvi left.
