Just to be clear. The mandates being lifted in England mostly have to do with the fact that it's been revealed that Boris Johnson had a bunch of parties during lockdown. He has now lost so much of the public trust, he couldn't enforce another lockdown even if he wanted to.

I'm definitely not about that life. I stayed shacked up in 2020, only going to work, grocery, and gas stations, and I started getting out a little more in 2021 by going back to the movies. I'm getting back into my normal life routine in 2022, but I'll do it at my own pace when I feel comfortable enough. I've got the vaccine and the booster, and I feel like I've got the best protection possible against the virus so if I do catch it, I won't be down as long. I'll probably keep a mask handy too.

Deaths without any other context are not the only deaths that count. Just look at the excess death figures which show you the number of deaths over what you would expect and that would clearly show you that COVID is killing people.

Because someone submitted a Freedom Of Information (FOI) request to them. Nothing to do with the "importance" of the figures.
