Personally I would continue to make the effort to maintain my shape and looks after marriage and I would expect my woman to do the same.

women who let themselves go are only able to do so because the husband isn't putting himself in a position to be impressed. a woman/wife who feels her husband can be tempted and is capable of getting better looking women will be less likely to get reckless with her own upkeep.
