Is it me or do people lack accountability?
I just got through reading that thread about DeMarcus Cousins being issued an arrest warrant and if I wasn’t absolutely disgusted at some of you nikkas responses...
Blaming someone else for HIS actions and HIS words. Ain’t nobody make him say or do that shyt. HE did.
And that’s just one of the many examples I could cite regarding nikkas’ sheer aversion to taking personal responsibility.
If you’re a grown man, like most nikkas on here claim to be, then you should be able to have better control over your emotions. Same goes for grown women.
If you can’t engage somebody verbally without resorting to unnecessary threats or putting hands on them, then maybe that’s something you need to assess within yourself. Ask yourself why you have trouble reigning in your anger and emotions. Why you can’t handle a situation differently - with more tact.
A wise man once told me, “It ain’t what they call you - it’s what you answer to.”
And if you “let” someone else “provoke” you emotionally (especially over something petty) to where you lose composure, your reaction will say more about you than it does about them.
TL;DR: Learn to exercise better control over yourself - emotions included.
