Once you think about the shyt. We don't really know anything. Everything you know you've either been told or you read in a book. You didn't do the research for a lot of things. I'm sure some things you have though. For example how do you know that other planets exist, you were told they do? How do you know history really took place the way they say it did, you were told it did? What do you actually know? shyt!

The Abrahamic religions are faith based. Real life and science are seldom faith based as they are based around what is seen and experienced. I can literally watch the plants with a telescope or astronomy binoculars so I assume you're being funny with that part.

S/N If you've never seen Jupiter through a powerful telescope you're missing out.

Every first step is a new one.

We learn from information that isnt in our presence .

I have knowledge of shyt I experienced, but long term I dont know shyt about this world and never will.

Life is a game, you just gotta know how to play it.

i agree to some extent. the nuance i would bring is that it's all based on assumptions upon assumptions. A lot of these assumptions are supported by proof that make sense (or at least seem to make sense). but even this evidence is often based on assumptions. But it has to be this way because a hundred lifetimes (let alone one) is not enough time to test every single scientific "fact" known to man. and even if you could test one, and the fact is proven, you'd have to run the test to infinity to prove it's right all of the time.

so yes, in theory, all of it is based on "faith" in what people before us discovered. but at the same time, when you start your car, you have "faith" that the rolling bomb you're about to start was designed properly. You have faith in the knowledge that the architects that designed your house used so realistically, you probably don't live in fear that your house will collapse on you while you sleep, etc, etc.

but then the argument (although extreme) would be that you have faith that the microscope or telescope is portraying an accurate representation. in other words, you have faith in the technology.

Well there's that of course but I'm talking about shyt like...how do we know that an atom exists? We have to have faith in those scientists that they know their shyt. :manny:
There are alot of things in this world that we experience even if it's not apparent to us. We experience atoms and molecules every day bruh bruh. We breathing right now lol. We can't see air most of the time.

The best thing about science is that if you think its wrong you can disprove it yourself. Now you have to have some really sound science to disprove some of the staples like gravity or relativity but you technically can. Everthing else is faith and you just have to take as word
