This is the folly with second hand information.
I knew Trump would win
cause I actually bothered to talk to people.
However, I was surprised the election was not rigged to declare her the winner nonetheless.
Critical thinking should tell you that if you have gone your entire life without ever being asked to be apart of a poll then the polls are highly inacurrate.
Then there are the polls and surveys for things like Cable/Phone service that I am asked to give feedback on and I decline.
I don't call the 'hows my driving' # on the side of trucks. I don't call the number on a Jack-in-the-Box receipt to get a free taco for providing input.
Cause I have better things to do.
So this lets me know the type of people that do bother with polls when asked. They aren't like me.
So when the poll is unreflective of my own views and beliefs, that is not discouraging to me. It just means a bunch of people nothing like me took the poll.
