I remember the summer of 05 all I heard everywhere in Chicago was jeezy. every nikka had the snowman streets and was quoting his lyrics. trap or die and thug motivate 101 were like gospel to nikkas. No rapper since has had that type of energy. Future and Gucci probably came closes but it wasn't near the level of Gucci.

You are absolutely right OP. Jeezy was omnipresent. As a NYC it was shocking to see a guy down south get the amount of love he did out here. Snowman T-Shirts were a hot commodity

Yea, that 2005 year for Jeezy was serious on the STREETS. There haven't been anything like that SINCE, and the last two times where the streets were that hot was DMX's 1st album and when the Chronic came out.
