NXT has done a great job supplying WWE's main roster with tag teams ready-made for success. Following in the footsteps of American Alpha, The Revival made their debut on the Raw after WrestleMania 33 and immediately put the rest of the roster on notice.

However, after two massive wins in consecutive weeks on WWE TV, The Revival looks to be headed for the sidelines for the next two months. WWE announced Monday that Dash Wilder fractured his jaw last Friday in an NXT live event and will miss eight weeks of action.

The Revival fought Shinsuke Nakamura and Hideo Itami on the show, which was part of a three-event farewell tour for the tag team, Nakamura and Tye Dillinger -- all main-roster call-ups after WrestleMania.

Wilder is set to get his jaw wired Friday morning, one week after he suffered the injury.

The former NXT tag team champions earned a pair of victories over The New Day in their main roster debuts but were not currently part of the Raw title pitcher as The Hardy Boyz are set to defend their newly-won belts against Cesaro & Sheamus at Payback on Sunday, April 30.

With Raw's next pay-per-view, Extreme Rules, set for June 4, it is looking like The Revival will be unable to contend for the belts until July at the earliest. Of course, Wilder's partner Scott Dawson could fight in singles action until then, and Wilder could appear on TV in his corner, though how that would play into storylines remains to be seen at this time.

The Revival’s WWE main roster push suddenly on hold due to injury

Has it been confirmed that it was because of Nakamura?

Let's be sure of that first before we draw any conclusions.

Yeah, I can't find anything saying exactly what happened yet so I left a ? on it, but it's... concerning. :patrice:

lol they were in a match with A). the King of Strong style and B). A man who may have been the stiffest kicker I've ever seen in a ring(and who I thought was the king of strong style before Naka coined the phrase)...of course they gonna get mopped up playing tough in the ring with those guys....

No flips just fists.... they fail to mention that they just aren't athletic enough for flips

I just don't like them.... the authors of pain (although i dont like them either) are better because they actually get people to hate them....
Revival helped carry Authors of Pain in the last triple threat tag team match with DIY. Authors of Pain a lot of times can't get consistent reactions but Revival doesn't have that problem. AOP are nowhere close to being on the level of Revival.

What level is the revival on? And AOP get booed.... Like they're supposed to (not people chanting their theme song).... the whole point of being a heel is for people to hate you. The longer AOP holds the titles the greater the anticipation for them to lose is..... people don't like AOP... So whoever they fight next will automatically be the fan favorite.... they can easily use that to build a new star tag team... mean while if you put an up and coming tram vs the revival people will just cheer for the revival because they really aren't good heels
