Yeah they did us no favors with playing the AFC North and NFC East plus Chicago and that defense and San Fran and that up and coming teamOffense has looked good all preseason(it's preseason)
Hopefully the schedule is more favorable than it looks on paper cuz that shyt looks rough.
I can see us going 7-9, but I can also see us going 10-6
I see us winning 1 of the 3 games Jameis is missing, maybe 2 depending on if Bell sits out Week 3.
The Chicago game got way harder with Mack being on one edge and its in the Windy City
I see us splitting the division games going 3-3
Outside of the division games, I got us beating WSH, CLE, CIN, BAL, NYG
Toss ups are DAL, CHI, SF, PHI, PIT
If shyt shakes out, 8-8, good for a rebound, but still miss the playoffs
Jameis goes for 3,600 yards 30 TDs 10 INTs
Ronald Jones get 800 yards 7 TDs
Evans goes for 1,200 and 10 TDs
Godwin has a breakout year and hit 800 yards and 7 TDs
I feel ya about Jones, the preseason wasn't a good sign, but if Barber can get it going, I can see Jones having some decent games and maybe become a better threat in the pass game.I think that's a little optimistic for Ronald Jones. I'm not so sure about him, to be honest. Barber has looked good this preseason, and I think he's motivated to keep that top spot. I can see Godwin breaking out and DeSean taking a step back though. OJ Howard should have a great year too.
Still fukkin heated at the first 2 picks of the draft. I’ve come around on the 2 corners in the second. At this point, just throw as many guys in the secondary as you can and hope a few stick. Cappa and Watson picks look good. But taking a fukkin 2 down nose tackle and a scat back that can’t catch in the first 40 picks is unforgivable.
Between that and jameis missing the first 3 games against elite teams, I’m really not too invested in this season. I just hope Jameis shows out over the last 13, koetter gets fired, the young defensive guys show they’re good, and we can make a run at it next year.
