This show legit got me thinking that Babyface could do a tour with all these artists singing these old school hits, and he'd sell out every show. I haven't seen an audience this lit at an awards show in
years. People still cravin that real R&B shyt.
A bit late on this, but just wanted to mention that Babyface has actually been doing something like this for a couple years now. Whenever he has a performance, he pretty much always does a medley of songs he wrote.
Hell, this was at the fukking Alameda County Fair in NorCal a few years back. The crowd always gets hype for that part of the show:
He goes through: "Two Occasions" (The Deele), "Don't Be Cruel" (Bobby Brown), "Every Little Step" (Bobby Brown), "Rock Wit'cha" (Bobby Brown), "Roni" (Bobby Brown), "Can We Talk" (Tevin Campbell), "Ready or Not" (After 7), "My, My, My" (Johnny Gill), "I'll Make Love To You" (Boyz II Men), "End of the Road" (Boyz II Men).
