No thread on 8yr working at Popeyes

A child in Colony, Texas, was caught working in the back of a Popeyes restaurant on Nov. 15, footage of which went viral online as the boy looked to be around 8 years old and no taller than four feet.

According to Inside Edition, a customer spotted the boy wearing an apron and preparing Popeyes' infamous chicken sandwich as the rest of the staff looked visibly overworked and busy.

"I noticed off to the side there was a young boy who was working with the flour — I'm assuming the flour they cook the chicken in — and it looked like he was working hard," said the witness.

Now the boy's father, an employee at that Popeyes, has been fired

If he was “helping his mom” he was working for free and his mom is a bozo.

An 8 y/o can easily get cut or burned in a commercial kitchen. Coulda had him sitting in the front

Stop being soft. You ever heard of a show called there's 5 kids cooking shows on food network with them using commercial stoves, ovens, grills, deep fryers, knives, oil, blenders, microwaves, ingredients you've never heard of. No one has ever died.

He shouldnt be there legally but he's not being exposed to anything dangerous, harming or life threatening.

Back in the day kids used to go to their parents work all the time. Used to have a day called bring your kid to work day and everything.

Let him get his money. Young boy probably bring money to the pot and bring food home daily. Not a good situation, but it is what it is.
