Andre Ball made 7 of 11 shots and had 17 points for Chino Hills.
Chino Hills wins Division I state championship
Even though Onyeka Okongwu fouled out with 3:50 left, the Huskies hung on for a 73-68 win over Las Lomas.

Okongwu finished his junior season with 27 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and five blocks.

Ofure Ujadughele and Andre Ball each stepped up when Okongwu became unavailable. Ujadughele finished with 20 points and Ball had 17 points.

Damn. Had no idea Onyeka was a 5 star player damn

He's a 6'9" athlete with a soft touch. Ever since he came onto the team he completely changed their defensive presence. All that cherry-picking and no-defense-playing the Balls did constantly was only possible because Onyeka was holding down the the middle against all comers.

It was just stupid that he was barely over 10ppg while they were there because Lonzo/Gelo/Melo took all the shots. He could have been a 25 and 12 guy developing his offensive repertoire, but the Balls wanted to shoot 60 threes/game at a 30% clip. They forced him to just focus on defense until they left.

They didn't have to face Sierra Canyon nor Sheldon so :camby:

Plus they still won led by a Ball.

:comeon: led by a Ball? Onyeka dropped 27 & 14 and 5 blocks

And notice I made a point to say Lavar Ball in my title not just "Ball". Lavar was the one who had a problem with the coach. Looks like the coach knows what he's doing.

I see how they did it now. They secretly played with an NBA player in their midst. Look at Roy Hibbert in a wig holding the ball. :martin:
