These heels doing some ass kissing is unbearable, we've heard a million times Angle is the greatest wrestler ever, just beat him for the god damn title instead of praising him. Angle should be the one praising EC3 for how far he's come in his career.

I think you may have missed the context of it.
He was saying all that about Angle only to prove the fact that though Angle has achieved all that, he himself has defeated Angle (soundly and clean) so not only is he better than Angle, he's better than anyone Angle has ever faced and beaten, and he's taking the belt when they fight.
