The game is a combination of Final Fantasy 7 and Skyrim. It's really good. I had soured on Final Fantasy games (I always though they should move away from linear story of the last few games and go the open world Skyrim type - or at least partially open like Final Fantasy 7) this game has brought me back.

I desperately need a new RPG to play. I love FF games. And RPGs in general. Never been a big MMO fan. But...willing to give it a try. How much is this shyt tho? If its too much on PS4 I'll prolly just get it on PC. I remember I downloaded a trial or some shyt a while ago.
its 20$ i think now, but you still gotta pay a month. I aint trippin cuz i can pay whenever. Im only level 8 on one of my outfits (youll see if oyu get it) and im ecen in the same first part but i like it on Ps4

I used to play it alot but have been taking a break to catch up on other games....great FF though. Read today that they just added the Golden Saucer in the game so I may have to jump back on soon...

I tried it. fukking terrible, plays like an outdated MMO. Only MMO i touch these days is GW2. Best gameplay and pvp I've ever seen in an MMO.
If you're primarily a console gamer who enjoys Skyrim and old school Final Fantasy then you will enjoy this game. If you want a purist PC game MMO I wouldn't know anything about that. Never even heard of GW2 or pvp before.

Guild wars 2 is probably the best mmo out right now. stop saying ffxiv is like skyrim cuz its not. Its hotkey/cooldown based gameplay like world of warcraft.
Now the setting/story etc is in the vein of classic final fantasy titles. but from a gameplay perspective, if you played any hotkey mmo, you played ffxiv
and i havent played in a while but PC PS3 and PS4 players can all play together seamlessly

Jesus you PC gamer know-it-alls are annoying. From a console gamer perspective, anything open world/dungeons is like Skyrim, any great RPG is compared to FF7. We're simple minded over here breh. Stop over complicating sh1t with "hotkey/cooldown" nonsense. I don't even know what that means.

breh look at warcraft gameplay then look at ffxiv same concept. press a skill or hotkey then it goes on cooldown till its ready again. dont be mad because you too stupid to understand a product u spent money on
its not a turn based rpg so its not like ff7 and ff6 is the goat FF
so oblivion is like skyrim even tho oblivion dropped first?
