Tough first game. A team like G-tech is still a stylistic nightmare of CU.

CU is fortunate they don’t play Kansas again this year. That is probably the worst team for them to play in the big 12.

Deion needs to stop hiring his boys and get some real coaches on the staff to help him develop these kids. The Prime effect can only go so far before the bigger programs takes whatever few talent players that he has on his team.

My takeaway’s from the game.

1. Salter’s inaccuracy on the run and lack of touch was god awful. There’s no way he should be starting over JuJu.

2. Shurmur has to go. You’re not going to beat the good teams with a predictable offense like that.

3. Colorado’s run defense still ass. They missed way too many assignments during that game.

4. Deion has to learn proper game management. He had two damn timeouts and just stood there without a care in the world.

I like Deion but you get the ball back down 7 with around 1:10 left and two timeouts on your 25 - it was completely inexcusable what happened there. That’s an eternity and it looks like he just froze
