No Troll: About Sony Exclusive Dominance...

As an X1 owner, I have seen enough articles, threads and sales figures that clearly indicate to me that the PS4 is the People's Champ.

I understand that a significant part of the equation is the fact that the PS4 has an overwhelming amount of good exclusives, especially compared to the X1. For the adventure seeking gamer ready to embrace an entire world on his own, I definitely see why he/she would lean towards PS4.



My issue is, in this age of connectivity, many people want to game against & with a group/squad. For the type of gamer who's main concern or reason for gaming is competition/multiplayer, where is the X1/PS4 debate there?

I'm trying to compartmentalize the discussion not for troll purposes; I want to have as detailed an understanding of which system I should be trying to get my squad to jump and support moving forward w/ the Scorpio around the corner.

So, at least for purposes of the thread, can we discuss the strengths and weaknesses of these two consoles moving forward regarding multiplayer. *To be fair, exclusive console content is a valid argument(E.I PS4's Destiny exclusivity).

I'm just a breh who really doesn't get excited about single player. I need some discussion from my perspective.

PS4's online structure and community is pretty lit this generation.

Party Chat is there, the built in streaming and sharing options opens up another realm into the community. They really leveled up their multiplayer experience coming from PS3 to PS4... ten fold.

The app companion for mobile phones is also clutch. You can create messages and send em to groups that you just played with or against fast. You won't be feeling like you're missing some features coming over to PS4

Larry360 had a nice run for a few years, even the OG Larry. But we all know the drill breh. You can still keep your Larry S or whatever. Even cop a Larry-O this fall. But the brehs, THE BREHS (even the hating larrybox contigent), have PS4s.

I seriously doubt there's some game changing feature on XBL that PS4 doesn't have, if not better.

There's literally PSN communities on PS4. You can have a group and post on there among your own. When i see folks say "PS4 sucks for mp" it's a head scratcher. i just assume they have no friends on PSN.

I'm also interested in, outside of multiplatform games, what exclusive PS4 game out there have amazing multi?

I still enjoy Gears 4 and I could pick up and run Halo whenever, it's an amazingly smooth FPS.

Hallway Wars has been really good to me and State of Decay 2(coming soon) has co-op.

Xbox has basically built their platform around being the better online service for the past few years now

And honestly they can't treat their fanbase much worse than Sony does in that regard incessant maintenances, I still can't change my god damn name, retarded seemingly yearly mandatory account information changes, the inability to activate a different PS4 @ will, I mean most of the shyt I said is problematic before you even start up the game, but still god fukking damn Sony

Playstation has diversity on SP games. MP wise they don't take many chances. Uncharted shouldn't compete with gears it should be socom. But I prefer TPS over FPS any day so I could care less about killzone and whatever fps

Xbox has groups We also have an app that allows us to BET REAL MONEY VS EACH OTHER IN ANY GAME WE WANT.

Uncharted is closer to Gears and vice versa, Socom would be closer to Halo.. at least the old Halo
