None of my "casual rap fan" friends know Kanye has an album coming out

I'm looking forward to this album x174810, so don't get it twisted.

But most of my friends, and I'd assume a good portion of Kanye's audience, doesn't know Yeezus is dropping soon. For all us on the Internet, it's kinda cool that Ye is making an album and doing it sooo under the radar.

But maybe it's just my friends, but it seems like unless you're on the blogs/boards or saw SNL, you don't know it's coming out and you're not buying.

I'm talking dudes who bought WTT and Graduation and seen him in concert, too.

I'm not saying he's gonna flop, because he WON'T, but it's just an obersvation. Not sure if it's like that around y'all neck of the woods.

JT really mastered album promotion in the GENERAL PUBLIC EYE with 20/20, not sure if Kanye's secretism will be big, too

JT didn't make any music between 06 and 13.

Kanye dropped 3 albums between end of 10 and 12.
Obviously there won't be the same type of buzz for it and also Kanye does not seem to wanna hunt fans just for the sake of hunting fans. It seems like he just wants to attract people who actually care about music.
