This is NOREs post in the comment section:

"This why u know u not black u can't be positive and be using a negative word towards the people who are trying to positive the word is offensive and especially how u use!!! If ya grand mother was a slave u will get it !!! But u don't even clain to be black u just claim nigha ,,, listen to what I'm saying and u will know im right , didn't say nothing wrong"

Response from the content creator he originally addressed:

I'm not mad at Nore's stance. Its just surprising he's saying this being from NYC and having plenty of Latino friends who I'm sure use the word frequently (IE: Fat Joe)

Dominicans are the most anti-Black people I’ve ever met in my life. I went to school that was like 3/4ths Latino, if not more, and it was always them throwing around cocolo and making racist jokes. I’ve only met one who fully identified with his Blackness to the point he didn’t even refer to himself as Afro-Latino, he’d say “I’m Black, that’s it”. Shouldn’t be surprising though, after all this is the same nation of people that culled 35,000 Haitians in 1937 like they were animals.

It’s hilarious seeing all those Latinos in the comment section saying they’re the descendants of slaves when many of them look at Spain as their motherland. The same folks that won’t call the coercive unions that created their ethnic identity rape. If mixed offspring are able to skirt enslavement, inherit land, attain education and hold political office in a plantocratic slave-society, then every supposed consensual relationship is inherently coercive. They can’t even honest about how phentotypically Black people in their respective nations are always the base of the social pyramid.

Man shut up. People are in the comments acknowledging their roots and your here saying "yea right" :childplease:

Dominicas dont run around saying their white either. We dominican. Thats it. You want to get into my genetic make up then yes im 45% african 40% european the rest indigenous/taino

Not even in spanish does anyone ever say "white or black dominican". We never had a jim crow era, no white and black bathrooms etc. We had a racist dictator almost 100 years ago. Thats it.

Miss me with the crybaby shyt, only in america are people obsessed with color

Dominicans are just super proud of our culture, flag and country. We are obnoxious with it. We will always say dominican before blaxk or white :manny:

Man, shut your doofy ass up. You only acknowledge your Blackness when it’s convenient. It’s typically times like this actually, when you’re getting called out for your anti-Blackness. Just like those Dominicans who would make racist jokes and then would refute being labeled racist with “I have Black people in my family”. I don’t give a damn about none of the fluff you’re spouting. Amara La Negra’s testimony is good example of how much your people are fukking liars. Ya’ll hate blackness, fukk outta here!

Your country has a history of racist laws modern examples of anti-Blackness being enshrined in your nation. Like Haitian laborers getting paid with vouchers instead of money, being forced to live in shantytowns, their food prices being being inflated, them getting arrested without due process, unjustly murdered and having their birth right citizenship revoked. Or your country replacing the term "mulatto" (which acknowledged African roots) with "indio" on national ID cards to distance Dominicans from perceived "Blackness," which was legally and socially associated only with Haitians. Blanquemiento isn’t just something Trujillo pushed, your people are proponents of it, that’s why lightening the race is something most of you abide by.
