He basically stated what we were all stating from jump street , that his sales are highly inflated by cacs who were never into hip hop prior to him . No ones is denying his technical skill either home boy is nice , but his flow is horrible he doesn't have that smooth cadence and lacks substances/soul ya average cat ain't gonna relate to wanting kill their mother & raping teenagers , his strong point is just multi syllables which anybody can do easily but his words don't paint pictures on a caliber of Nas , Prime Jay Z , Slick Rick , Kool G Rap etc nor does he have punchlines that makes cat go like :ohhh: :damn: :mindblown: . He's just talented at rhyming words together sounding wild mechanical , but that doesn't put you among the greats . So in conclusion Em is truly one of the most overrated artist in rap history but that doesn't mean he's trash though , but facts is facts .

I don't see it as a diss as Elvis was def talented and respected by his peers. A lot of the racial shyt that people put on his plate as a deflection from the media crowning him "King" and all but ignoring all the times he talked about his influences from black musicians, kinda similar to what is happening with Em.

Em realizes that...he realizes people think about that as well which is why he's alluded to it in his music on the goofy joints where he can kinda wild out while slipping in honest statements.

Didn't em call himself the Elvis of rap in one of his songs?

"I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley
to do black music so selfishly
and use it to get my self wealthy"

He also did the jail house rock parody in another video.

He said it in jest but a lot of people cope with guilt/pain with jokes. I think that's one of the things that helped drag Elvis into his downward spiral. I feel like the whole mythos of Elvis being trapped by fame, the white washing shyt, and the suicide played a role in his drug situation too. Self fulfilling prophecy.

Nothing wrong with him being our Elvis, but just because Hip Hop is a competitive art form does not mean a "king" needs to be crowned, but the cac media is gonna cac.

elvis is known by literally all black people by being the guy that stole his style from blues singers and only crowned ''king'' from white people.

I can see where you're coming from, but that's not entirely the case with Em. He's heavily respected by multiple well known rappers. I mean, I couldn't take Lord Jamar seriously when he said the likes of Wayne, Game and Drake were better than him like what?:wow:

That said, it goes to show that his opinion is somewhat bias and all of ours are too. I'm happy with personal GOATS, but people get so salty about shyt if you mention it:takedat:
