It's like Nore is trying to appease two groups of listeners.
It seems like Nore was confused on what direction he wanted to take with the album since half the songs are boom-bap bangers and the other half are club/radio tracks.

The good half of this album is absolute crack. Nore is actually rapping well again. The clubby/trap stuff isn't my thing but is done pretty well for that sort of sound. The Lil Wayne hook literally made me laugh out loud.

Yeah I remember reading that somewhere. The only problem with trying that is that it's very easy to split your fanbase over the course of the album. I prefer most of the boom-bap records on here, but I've read reviews that preferred the more commercial tracks (and even said the beat to Built Pyramids was lame
). When done correctly, it should blend both sides to build an album that flows smoothly instead of jumping from boom-bap to commercial and back. I do give him props for trying though and there are some definite bangers on here.
finally listened to this...pleasantly surprised. enjoyed built pyramids and vitamins the most.
way more keepers than I was expecting from this
