Starting to wonder if the REALLY FAR right is up to something.....
Like America is setting Israel up and giving them enough rope. They go ham and destroy everyone in the Middle East. Everyone hates Israel. Then America comes in and wipes em out at their weakest.
The evangelical branch of the GOP loves Israel but the real Nazis are still anti-Jew. It's like if Hitler played the long game and let the Jews tank their own favorability ratings instead of just going on a massacre. Millenials and Gen Z of all races are finna be hella anti-Jew.
There's a branch of the Evangelical right which believes in accelerationism. At the end of the Christian Bible, Revelation describes a bunch of events that need to happen before the world ends and jesus ushers in 1000 yrs of peace.
One of those events is the world turning against Israel, and multiple armies gathering from around the world to snuff them out. Biblically, they are supposed to be losing until blonde, blue-eyed Jesus descends from the heavens to smite the armies and live in peace with the Christian pick-me's that side with israel.
I know it's a crazy, whack job philosophy but when you go into the deep south this is a common thought process with fundamentalist Christian think tanks at Liberty University and Temple University supporting it. As we speak , our own ambassador to Israel believes in this concept and preached about when he was a still a pulpit preacher in Arkkkansas
