CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - Authorities arrested and charged a person on Tuesday in connection with a mass shooting that was reported at a house party in Catawba County over the weekend.

Garon Killian, 20, was taken into custody on Tuesday, June 3 in connection with a June 1 mass shooting that left one man dead and 11 other people injured, the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office reported. Killian, of Lenoir, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder.
The man killed was also identified as a Lenoir resident.
