She closed her downtown Raleigh store due to “online threats” then ended the interview crying about being marginalized, from her prime downtown real estate.

I grew up watching Chinese women sell egg fu yung behind bulletproof glass for decades.

Makes one wonder how hard it is to sell books in a retail shop when Amazon exists with way lower prices, and how much that may have figured into her decision.

Looking at where it’s located, it seems that a different location would suit them better. They’re tucked away in a tall building. How would people know where they are? Hopefully they can find a good space where they can thrive
