I've been in situations like that and they person can't find shyt to say and they end up saying "Just be happy for your health"...

I'm like nikka if I can't afford to eat or go to the doctor my health isn't going to be shyt.
Exactly.

It insults my intelligence when I hear that simply "getting right with god" will all of a sudden change my life for the better.

Again, not bashing religion, because I do think it's good at helping people deal with the loss of a loved one or even thinkin about when your time is up

The police in Ogun State has arraigned nine members of the Cathedral Church of Christ, Ilaro, before an Ogun State chief magistrate court sitting in Ilaro over an alleged plan to kidnap the priest, Venerable E. Oluwatade.

The accused persons, who were arrested in the aftermath of a fracas that occurred in the church on May 1, 2016, over the leadership crisis that has been rocking the church, were arraigned before the court on a five- count charge.

Those arraigned are, Elegbede Gbenga, (32); Elegbede Bukola (30); Atunrase Oke (46); Atunrase Elizabeth (35); Adeniji Solomon (78); Adeniji Esther (60); Ogunwunmi Adebisi (60); Akinwunmi Ololade (41) and Omoniyi Adedeji (35).

They were accused by the police of conspiracy, assault, conducting themselves in manners likely to cause breach of peace, disturbing religious worship and attempted kidnap of Venerable E. Oluwatade.

The accused persons who were arraigned on May 5, 2016, pleaded not guilty to all the count charges.

According to woman inspector, Bukola Abolade, the prosecutor, the accused persons alongside one, Agbokeye Rufus, who is now at large, on May 1, 2016, conspired together to plan the attempted kidnap and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 516 of Criminal Code Cap 24 Vol. II Laws of Ogun State of Nigeria.

Someone, on the brink of death, is saved by a doctor--Thank God, etc.
Someone, on the brink of death, was unable to be saved by a doctor--All a part of his plan, works mysteriously, etc. You can't have it both ways. :francis:
