if you missed the train on adding a bunch of friends on facebook/instagram/twitter then you can forget about it now 
for years.. literally half a decade I used to get spammed by people I aint know to add them on facebook/instagram/twitter.
Now that I have my own business and I want to add people to expand my market, I cant
ive had my facebook account since 2008, they talking about if I add anymore people I dont know(even through mutual friends) my account will be closed
But I guess it was ok for 5 years for mafukkas to add me not knowing me
Last night I paid for advertising on facebook for an event I have coming up. This morning I woke up to a million "WE THINK SOMEONE COMPROMISED YOUR ACCOUNT" messages and ive had to upload my driver license picture twice plus answer a million questions just to get my account unblocked and ads running again
just now on instagram, I tried to do what the vegas promoters do for the first time.
Basically if you hashtag #vegas in your picture, you will get 1-3 promoters from clubs like XS, Marquee, Tao etc posting on your picture saying "hey get on my guestlist for Tao get open bar and free entry" etc...
I tried doing that but for San Francisco and got blocked just now instagram for 2 hours after only hitting 5 people up about this shyt
its not like im spamming random people either, these are people who hashtag clubs in the area, they share a similar interest, and im just letting them know about cinco de mayo weekend.
on twitter if you make a new account now, you cant add more than 2k people... unless you get 2k follow backs and then and only after that you can add 1 person for every follow back
so basically if you just started using social media in 2014 for what it was originally created for (meeting new people, etc.) then you cant even do that.
