As I’m watching the ICE boys do business, while not rooting for them, but minding my business.

I’m noticing the biggest difference between Black Americans and Black Immigrants is that you nikka ARE SCARY as hell.

Our Grands under FDR and Eisenhower
Our Ancestors under Jackson, Wilson, Polk, Jefferson, Monroe

Parents are Jamaicans, but I had neighbors around their age that talked about the Jim Crow days and the Civil Rights Movements.

Them stories, made me pissed that black immigrants didn't partake in the struggle more, cause them CACs wouldn't stand a chance against Caribbean black folk.

What state does your family descend from? Do you forget that a lot of older black people who descended from the north looked upon southerners with the same disdain?
A person down south could say those who moved up north, fled. But it’s untrue and counterproductive, and more importantly, it does not give us the agency to decide where we want to live or reside. And it also shows no empathy to those who had to move.

It wasn’t right then and it’s not right now. Whatever is coming to a person is coming, so why put the extra bullshyt on it? If the concept of culture being a constantly adapting structure is true, co-signing your pro-white ideology of America being the melting pot, why get mad now? If they were serious about the deportations, half of the gas stations and corner stores would close overnight. They won’t go after their maids, lawn workers, or anybody of utility to them.

It’s funny how nobody is calling Barron Trump a tether when he is the clear definition of one.

Moving region to region is not leaving your country. At all. And it does a disservice to the whole migration when you compare it to immigration.

im mean, i'm a descendant of a family that fled north on the underground railroad to canada. they helped others escape and even became abolitionist help faciliting the arrival of others through fundraising and activism. we created our own thriving communities in lower ontario, canada before the turn of the 20th century. though, after, many of our families returned back and became some of the enterprising families in Detroit and Chicago's black communities. the point is, we all have various family members that are still there. my grandmother and all her siblings still have dual citizenship. and they are all passionate about preserving black american history in lower canada as a feature of the broader black american meta struggle. we make no qualms that we descend from black americans that said fukk tyranny, we're leaving, come with us.

and came back and helped our communities flourish (during their heydey.)
