I can't pinpoint books I can just try and discuss people and events see if I can find any article or journals highlighting or discussing it in some detail
but a great book about economic warfare at play is the Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins, it goes into detail at how the US exercise its power to cripple countries economically forcing refugees to come to the US
