Did we give Kobe this same opportunity? :comeon:

LeBron's better than Kobe's ever been though. He's bout to collect his 4th MVP while Kebo only has 1!!!!

:what: dont pretend that a nikka's a good shooter when more than half of his shots are layups and within 12 feet. Its insulting.

Lebron's stats are manipulative, he dominates the ball. He's a 6"9 power forward that runs the point. His point guard plays 28 minutes and is putting up 3 assists a game. Of course, you think that's normal though.

Do you nikkas watch basketball or do you just skim box scores?

Are people praising his shooting or are people praising his production? :usure: What's insulting is you harping on where he's shooting from as if taking close shots is a bad thing.

What elite perimeter player doesn't dominate the ball? How many assists did D. Fish avg. with Kobe? How many assists did BJ Armstrong avg. with MJ/Pip? You are sounding very haterish my dude.

I'm old enough to have watched Jordan in all of his prime, as a Detroit native, I was watching when he finally broke through and crushed the buildings on the Pistons. How LeBron plays, it doesn't come off as elegant as Michael did his work, but you can't argue with the effectiveness. I can't cosign the championships argument when I will kufi slap a nikka that tells me that Barry Sanders isn't the GOAT back and all he got was an asskicking in the NFC championship against the Redskins.

However, for the first time in the NBA since MJ's reign, there is a player playing that seems like he has cheat codes enabled. He puts up 30/8/8/ and it is like he isn't even trying. I see a few more holes in his game but as he has been progressing every year, I'm sure he's going to plug them up sooner than later. We've been watching him ever since he was USA Today player of the year as a Sophomore, then won again as a Junior and then again as a Senior. He was lauded and ordained to be doing this in the NBA. Why are we really surprised. I'm not. His career is Nas' career done right. The Chosen One has clearly risen above his competitors.

The eye test tells me he isn't there yet, but it does tell me that he is a lot closer than people might care to admit.

not til about 4-5 more rings cocksucka beat it :leon:

Lebron is a 6'9 270 lb PF thats guarded by SFs and SGs. Him scoring within 15 feet is not amazing to me:yeshrug:

He should be able to get to the rack at will, beating any defender you can think of putting in front of him off the dribble, score buckets with historic efficiency, set up teammates for wide open 3's and then have the passing ability to get them the ball in any situation, play the 1 through 4 positions all at an elite level, while being the most disruptive defensive player from top to bottom in the league.

All 6'-9" 260 pound players can do that.

I don't like how Mike and Mike is reading the The Coli and my threads and giving them material to run on without giving my royalties. As soon as I make this thread, they want to talk about this today on the air with Jalen Rose :shaq2::pacspit:
