Nothing is funnier than seeing a thread on a school's site where a player verbally commits

and you see everybody celebrating, with posts like "wow, we are going to be scary good!"

And u follow the thread up until signing day, then the player de-commits, and you see all the hopes and dreams of a final four or a bcs game, snatched from the entire fan base.

Then those posts turn into "we didnt want him anyway" or "he's scared of competition" or, my favorite, "I only want players here who honor their commitments and want to be here"
