I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
Kevin Nash: Ya know... I smoked blunts with Biggie before. :smugfavre:

Sean Oliver: Wait, Biggie? As in Biggie Smalls? You knew each other?

Kevin Nash: Yeah, man, of course. We actually first met back, uh, when I was bouncing at Chene Park in Detroit. This was before it became the Aretha Franklin Theatre. Rest in peace to the Queen of Soul. *sips wine* So anyway, yeah, the next time we met we were backstage at Jon Stewart’s show. This was back when Jon was on MTV - total class act, by the way. And, uh, we were backstage after the taping and smoking it up with BIG and his crew. That’s when I told Chris there’s only two things that are real in showbiz: the money and the miles. And I swear to you, man, a few months later, he came out with ‘fukk bytches, Get Money.’ :ehh:

Sean Oliver: What?! Get outta here!

Kevin Nash: Yeah, man. In fact, I had a broad with me that night that, uhh, had a big ol’ tattoo that said “Big Daddy’s Girl” on her left breast and Chris asked me to use it in one of his rhymes. I gave him my blessing as long as he changed his crew’s name from Junior Clique to something else, since we were, ya know, running with the Kliq name already. :sas2:

99.9% perfect. You just needed to add a few more f-bombs in there to be perfect.

"After Biggie got in that accident when Cease crippled him, I told myself that I had to come visit him. He wasn't doing too well and he told me that I just had to hear some tracks from his new album, the, um, the.........Life After Death? fukk, yeah, Life After Death. So I was listening to it and I was telling him that it's incomplete. It was incomplete, Big. If you tried turning this album in as an English paper, the teacher would tell you to go rewrite it. So after that, I told him that he didn't want to mess this up. Competition was crazy back then. These Waffle House cooks like Nas and Mobb Deep and Rae, they were......they were fukking trying to take him out. I told him he needed to come harder and let people know where he's been. You want your spot back, you gotta work for it, Big."

"So, what happened next?"

"I kid you not, he starts recording a double album. Puff didn't understand it and he was calling me all sorts of motherfukkers on the phone, but I didn't care. I just wanted to see Biggie win. That's why when he did the 'Long Kiss Goodnight' track, you hear him say it. 'I want my spot back, take two.' He got that from me. It's like he was starting over."

"It's too bad he couldn't live to see the album's success."

"I know, man, it sucks, but that's life. Rappers were getting smoked like blunts back in the day. But he dedicated the album to me. In the liner notes, if you look hard enough and grab a microscope, it's literally right there. 'To my good friend, my inspiration, the wind beneath my wings, my guiding light, my Yoda, my spirit animal, the one person that made me forget about Faith and Kim and Charli and them, Big Sexy.' I'll never forget that."

Back in the day I always wondered why more rappers would never put wrestling references in their rhymes

I've heard a few rappers name wrestlers in the '90s I heard one of the dudes from RBL Posse mention Axel Jim Duggan and Ted Dibiase, and Nine made a Roddy Piper reference. I've heard a few other references but I can't remember which songs.

If it was any other show i'd call Nashtales but Jon Stewart show seems like it would have a laxed atmosphere like that.
