Now that Barret has the IC title the smarks won't cheer for him anymore

Newsflash. Barrett is not over. He has a shytty gimmick and he has no more talent now than he had a year ago. The only reason smarks chanted his name was because he was obviously going nowhere as a character and smarks like to chant for failures and underachievers. It's their way of "rebelling" against authority. It's a power trip.

So now that the WWE has given in and pushed Barrett and given him the IC title, tell me... where does that character go from here.

The answer is nowhere. That is the absolute peak for that character. And now that he's reached the pinnacle, expect those same smarks to get bored and go back to not caring about him. Don't expect any noteworthy feuds or matches either. Because not only do I not have have confident in Barrett, I don't have the confidence in WWE either.

Maybe not immediately, but I say in about 5-6 weeks Barrett will be back to walking out to crickets. And in 3-4 months he'll either be jobbing again early in the card or he'll be off tv again altogether.

My boy just started back watching at Mania and he's mad hyped for Barrett(I am too honestly) but i had to warn him that this could be good, but he also could be in the bushes in less than a month

Big E had a nice buzz before winning that shyt and they had all the chances in the world to build him and that title and they put him on the back burner. Hopefully with Barrett's buzz that doesnt happen this time around, but its inevitable.

He's also the reigning lineal champion so he cant lose any matches any time soon
