Now That Im Older, I Appreciate Mary J.Bliges' Voice More

and her voice hit me really hard especially towards the end when she started spazzin

Coming up, i was never the biggest fan of her voice. Yea, ive always liked her music and she has classics but her actual voice has never been very appealing to me.

But now that im older,i realize why she has millions of fans across the globe: her voice is filled with PAIN. Its filled with emotion and sadness. She doesn't have a "pretty" voice per se, Its "ugly" but in a beautiful way, kinda like Anthony Hamilton. I understand now why women especially have always related to Mary J's music.
