Now that some time has passed, how would you rate Irving's 2016 Finals Performance?

I can only wish this young man good health over the next few season.....If his body can hold up he might put up a special body of work over the next few years

Great handles and body control
Excellent finisher at the rim
Very good midrange, spot shooting and three point shooter
Very good in the isolation
Can improve his passing and floor generalship.....this would actually be very good if he could improve because of his isolation abilities and because it would allow LBJ to play offball more and take the Cavs to a different level
Still prone to getting lost on the defensive end sometimes but is not nearly the liability that he is made out to be
One of the knocks against him is the Cavs record when LBJ sits out....

Look its clear as day to me that Lebron does not give much regular season effort between October and early february......It would seem to me that the Cavs should build their offense around Irving/Love. in the regular season....Lebron can still get his when he is interested and we know that he becomes a Goliath in the playoffs.

Kyrie has the ability to be a 25-5-5 guy

He was without a doubt in my mind...the key to winning that finals.

LBJ had the most hollow and most forgettable statistics ever despite looking good on paper and had all of the glory.

It was a great performance and Kyrie showed the world that when he is at his best he is as nice as any guard in the league. Having Bron and getting a ring has changed the trajectory of his career but Irving has always had games like he had in the Finals. And while others backed down or didn't bring their best effort against Steph and the Warriors Kyrie played with a confidence and level of fearlessness that is rarely seen.

Some time has passed? :dahell: It's been a month and a half :heh:

It was and will always be amazing. He stepped up in the biggest moment when his team needed it the most. If he goes to another level next year and in the coming years, we will look back on this Finals as the moment he took the leap.
