Now That There's One Champion Do We Need The Elimination Chamber Anymore?

For so long since there was 2 champions the Elimination Chamber has been used to determined who would be the number one contender for the title that the Royal Rumble winner doesn't pick. Now every now and then they make the champion defend the belt inside the chamber but that never really was a big issue in the past since champions have been retaining the belts in the chamber and with the Rock's case just hadn't had to defend in the chamber at all.

So it begs the question is the Elimination Chamber match just like the Hell in a Cell where it don't need to exist anymore? Personally I still like to see a Tornado Tag Match Elimination Chamber with The Shield vs (insert opponents here) on some old school War Games type of brawl but WWE will never make it happen.

It can always be used as a stipulation or #1 contender match. I'd say move it into the June/July PPV spot for the #1 contender match at Summer Slam.

they can run with the idea that in order to headline wm as champ u cant just stroll in WM with the belt, u still have to earn your spot by winning the ultimate challenge [EC] and if u happen to lose, then u really had no business headlining the biggest event of the year as champ..

I am for this actually, move the Money In The Bank ppv to June then Eimination Chamber ppv to July

Elimination Chamber might be the only themed PPV i'm ok with at this point. have one for the main title and one for the midcard title...or one for a shot at the main

PPVs like Hell in a Cell, Money In The Bank should be gone. put MITB back on Mania where it belongs

That or use EC to throw Survivor Series to them bushes. An annual multi-man "hardcore" (by PG standars) match or a War Games type of match we've all been asking

I still like the idea of it. Shouldn't be placed between RR & WM anymore though. Cancel the PPV and move the match to Survivor Series.

First of all there should be no gimmick ppvs especially not mitb which should be at Mania. But if they're gonna keep it just make the champ defend the title in it. Us vs IC unification would be cool but I doubt they do it.
