I'll say this. I tried this deodorant by Mitchum that used bamboo powder for an antiperspirant and the shyt smelled absolutely great for about 2 hours then after that...

My girl looking at me like

That shyt smelled horrible and felt like I put slime under my arms and I'mnot even a person that sweats a lot if I'm not doing something. I then went online and read reviews about it bc I was like I have never had this happen and sure enough it's a common thing.

I don't either, unless I'm going to a wedding/club or something like that. I just shower every morning, and additionally if I have to. Every time I used deodorant, I felt the lymph nodes in my armpits swelling, even when using the shyt without aluminum. If I stink after that, oh well.

And I don't think that's the reason Africans don't rock deodorant
They grow up watching their parents taking 2-3 proper showers daily and think that's enough to keep em fresh
Even when they move here, no one is schooling em on the importance of using deodorant..
So they shower daily and go about their business
