Nice, jazzy track. Woulda been better if Ghost spit another verse or spit a longer verse. I love Sour Soul but it's as much a BADBADNOTGOOD showcase as it is a Ghost album.

I really enjoyed it, certainly wouldn't have complained if it was longer but it was quite short and sweet, I listened to it quite a bit and am going to a lot more. It reminds me a little of the Death Of Tragedy mixtape with Tragedy Khadafi, short but VERY sweet, was all on a very high level work, Ghost's album does kind of feel like a mixtape or EP but it delivered for me and was happy/satisfied with it, and this particular track although it's short I loved it instantly, I think you know somewhat my tastes so you know the content is right up my alley. Is positive, righteous, motivational, inspirational, pretty profound even though it's very short, at least it's all dope and no filler anywhere lol. Feeling the beats, was my personal favourite Ghost project out of the last few, anticipating new material, I like the vibe he's been on recently, I really felt his parts on Better Tomorrow.

I feel you. Out of the last three collab Ghost projects (12 Reasons to Die, 36 Seasons and Sour Soul) this was my favorite. I liked all three but I prefer when Ghost isn't restrained to a strict storyline he has to follow. And the jazz feel throughout Sour Soul is exquisite. Something I can just lay back, chill, smoke and vibe to.

I agree with you, because I like the abstract/slang nature of the rhymes when he's just being him. Even though I do like his girl tracks too, and some of the emotional tracks, the project with the AZ features was quite conceptual, which I can appreciate but as you said it's a little restrictive to what some may feel is his best qualities. I personally feel though Ghost is spitting at a very high quality still, I'm loving a lot of his work recently, he sounds hungry, powerful, lyrical, I'm really feeling it, I don't particularly understand the criticism's that he isn't spitting ill from some, but to each their own I guess...
