Number of Playoff Series Victories over teams with 50+ wins:

Lebron: 6
Duncan: 18
Kobe: 24

Let's put these numbers into their proper context...

Dirk's 2011 Title Run: 48 win Blazers, 57 win Lakers, 55 win Thunder, and 58 win Miami (3, 50+ win teams)
Kobe's 2010 Title Run: 50 win OKC, 53 win Utah, 54 win Phoenix, 50 win Boston (4, 50+ win teams)
Duncan's 2005 Title Run: 49 win Denver, 52 win Seattle, 62 win Phoenix, 54 win Detroit (3, 50+ win teams)

In one single playoff...

Lebron's entire career has been a fraud. How does he get cemented as a top 10 player for beating up on the Bucks, Sixers, and Bobcats?

In the west, 50 wins sometimes doesn't even get you a playoff spot. That's how stacked the conference had been for so long. I think only 3 or 4 teams even had a winning record in the east last year or year before. Not difficult to beat teams with a 20+ win advantage.

So by the OP's logic, LBJ and the cavs/heat being atop the east was a sham. They should have finished 7th or eighth in the East so they can have more wins over 50+ win teams :comeon:

why is this a new topic when the east has always been weak, even in the MJ era. Even the 70+ Bulls team only beat two teams with 50+ wins, but no one said anything then right :sas2:

I guess not

so what was the point of bringing up something you cant prove??

if thats the case, put duncan and kobe on those cavs teams and watch that team still be mediocre, put lebron/ai/tmac with shaq and they would get three rings

see what hypothetical logic gets you, no limits
