My family has nurses. I've spoken with nurses. Look at the requirements. They now require Bachelors degrees after getting their job.
Some places do while others don’t

Especially after the pandemic, a lot of places are taking just associates.

How do you know most nurses don't have a Masters or Doctors?

FYI Associates don't account for nursing anymore besides maybe getting your foot in the door. Bachelor's degree is a requirement now.
And if you don’t want to believe me you could just do a quick google search.

Only 18% of nurses have a Master’s degree or higher.

Only 56% of nurses have a Bachelor’s degree or higher which means 44% of nurses only have an associate’s degree
