Could be nothing at all, but it'd be weird if WWE allowed them to be acknowledged while not under contract and not knowing where they're going.

Like Adam Cole recorded some action figure stuff with Johnny before his contract expired but it aired after he left.

Even then with how funny the company is, you would think that they wouldn't take the chance of promoting them and then having them show up elsewhere right away since they aren't under non-competes. There's nothing literally stopping Kyle O' Reilly from showing up on Dynamite tomorrow with Cole and Fish.
