NXT tickets in Australia must be slow as they’ve announced that in every city on the tour, for every ticket purchased, you can bring a buddy for free.

Is NXT over? :ohhh:
You don't need to sell out a building to make money if you're doing it right but :hamster:

For these international tours, arenas/promoters book the WWE and pay them upfront based on a number of expected attendance they can agree on, and then agree on a percentage of ticket sales/concessions/merch.

They’re booked for venues too large for NXT and the arena/promoters are trying to fill it up. Keep in mind NXT tours in tiny, indie sized buildings in the US. The arenas they’re booked in Australia are from 4500-7000 seats. Combine that with Australia never being a large wrestling market and you get this. They don’t even have a top Australian talent to put on display. Blake and Murphy are bit players now and TMDK haven’t gotten rolling.

The UK tour had Finn on top and a booming wrestling industry in the isles behind it.

I.dont think the show last night did that great (theater at msg - not sure of the capacity off hand) and the show tonight in Boston is in like a 6k arena and you can still get first row 100-level seats and decent floor seats :lupe:

The draw of that brand has gone down dramatically since the draft

Bayley and Balor were such legitimate stats they carried the shows

Nakamura is great but the feud with Joe sucks, the women's division is really dry and the tag team division isn't much either

It's a lull for them right now, I think they fukked up by bringing in too many older indy guys and rhe head writer going to Smackdown hurt too

I'd still rather go to another NXT show rather than a Raw or Smackdown show though...

But with the split, it's gonna kill NXT as a touring brand...
