Detroit guy here. I just got back from LA and San Diego last week. Did a spring break road trip with the my wife and kid (about 10 hours from El Paso). It was my first time visiting. I’ve been to NY twice and The Chi a bunch of times.
Out of all of the places I’ve visited in the U.S., I’d rather live in Southern Cali. Cali, the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, or Charleston SC coastal area. But Cali is #1 on my list of places in the U.S. where I’d want to live.
Idk if it’s the weather, the food, the freedom (marijuana, liberalism), the beaches, the fauna/biome, the people, or a combination of it all.
But I felt so stress free out there. I can’t explain it, brehs. I was even going to make a thread about it.
It’s a majestic ass place region/place. If it wasn’t so expensive, I’d move out there. Y’all Cali brehs got it made and are spoiled as fukk.
*edit*
My goodness I hate the way NY brehs speak. Like this dude in the video...the accent, loudness, and speech in general is annoying as fukk. Ole “look at me, I’m from NY”, ass dudes. Almost stopped watching because I can’t stand to hear him talk.
