NY brehs, is Hicksville a "black people friendly" area?

I was sent here for work and we finished our maintenance window early but I'm starving. I skipped lunch and dinner.

I'm driving around and see all restaurants are closed at this hour but I see a bunch of random bars but I don't wanna just stroll in and find no skinhead reunion since i havent seen any black people on this side of town.
Maybe I'm reading too much into the name

I don't know. I have yet to see another black person at the hotel (HolydayInn in Hicksville)I'm staying in. Not even employees.

Im at the HolidayInn on SunnySide boulevard. I didnt see anything that resembled ghetto while driving here but maybe i wasnt paying attention while on the Expressway.

I just didnt like the feeling i got when i checked in and there wasnt a black soul in the lobby or the bar or the restaurant in the hotel.
