I'm glad you made this thread. I always felt like 2 was so slept on, it's just as classic as the first one, and honestly at this point, Nas was a much better songwriter and spitter as he was in Illmatic, had more control and a more versatile flow. he had also mastered storytelling by the time he dropped I Am....so Part 2 is better, but that opinion isn't popular...

2 is great in its own right but 1 is one of the GOAT Hip Hop songs period.

2 was dope though. The haunting vibe was ill and Nas's imagery on that joint was lyrical wizardry.
