BRUH. I use to play GTA online and sometimes there’d be nothing but children in there, I’m talking 7 and 8 year olds - the whole lobby!!!
I’m not a prude at all but these parents can’t wait until they’re 13 to play these games?! I would actually ask the kids on my headset where the hell their parents were sometimes
America’s bad parenting is to blame for all of this shyt, I grew up on Rambo and die hard, lethal weapon - we weren’t even thinking about shooting up our schools
20 is the new 30 man. Most of these parents are mentally stunted themselves. They figure telling their kids that "it's just a video game, it isn't real" is rational enough to justify the purchase of these games. Most parents deep down inside don't want to really parent because that shyt is hard work if you are doing it right. Taking the lazy approach, they gift them televisions, consoles, and games to "keep them out of trouble" when in fact, these games (online) cause quite the stir.
To most parents in America, it's tough to work all day, come home and cook, revise your kid's homework, study with them and still have enough of an evening to spend time by yourself or with your spouse.
With all that mentioned, it still doesn't take into account all of the extracurricular activities such as sports and whatever else the child may be into. It's easier to load up the phone with apps to order junk and order an Xbox gold package so the parent doesn't have to deal with the kid or the stresses that come from raising one.
You and I would have watched Action Packed movies when they came on, but once they went off, we resumed our everyday activities of childhood. We didn't spend all day and night playing or watching Rambo. There is a price that we pay for the availability and ease of mindless entertainment. We are now entering the phases of seeing the effects of the widespread availability of Pron and ease of sex. I
