Wow,you don't get a lot of interviews we're people openly talk about the rape deal. That doesn't happen in the US. Thanks
@The HONORABLE SKJ
Him getting the Caribbean excluded from his 360 is smart but they're going to keep him doing international shows 5 days out of the week so it isn't going to matter. Label is going to keep him doing what makes them money. Reggae artist don't really do things to make money outside of songs,dubs,and shows to make money so this 360 doesn't really work in the labels favor unless they have the whole machine pushing him to keep him doing international shows. Reggae artist aren't really a staple on radio either, so trying to get him known to the point where non Caribbean,14 year old white,and middle america know him is another mountain the label has to climb to make themselves money. They're going to end up doing more work to keep him popping internationally so they can get money off of him than he's going to be doing. Usually its the other way around. I don't see that lasting long,they'll cut their loses if he is in the Caribbean eating off their leg work and they aren't.
You can tell he has a good team behind him and he understands a bit about how to move in the business. Going to be interesting to see how his career goes even though mainstream reggae artist don't last long outside of the Caribbean so that's going to turn into his safe zone and the label won't see any money from it. Atlantic wants another Sean Paul so bad they didn't even think it through.
