In the city, I'd probably take a walk in Inwood Hill Park. It's been virtually untouched since colonial days. It's so densely wooded and you wouldn't believe you're in NYC after walking down one of the paths.

Much of the Bronx is park land. Van Cortlandt Park on the Nature Trail is peaceful. Just Riverdale in general is a peaceful ass place to just clear your thoughts.
