Without me googling, what came first? Yo MTV Raps or Video Music Box?

I was only able to see Yo MTV Raps and Pump it Up with Dee Barns which were iconic in their own right.

were they both spinoffs of Video Music Box?? It was just a local NYC show right??

Back in the day if you did'nt have cable, them bunny ears tuned to Channel 25 would be the wave

All the earliest hip hop videos that I ever seen was on Video Music Box

It introduced me to Nas, Wu, Big, everyone who was big in the early 90s
