Not a NY breh but was heavily immersed in 90's NY hiphop. Pitts is Puff's double (facially). Came up wit him since the Howard days, was BIG's manager and ran Bystorm records.
Don Pooh was Foxy manager, another promoter turn exec from the era.
Them dudes turned hip-hop into the industry it is now with labels, real budgets and success.

like homey above said Mark Pitts was BIG manager and ended up becoming Nas manager mid 2000

he was responsible for gettin Nas to sign to Def Jam and the public truce with Jay-Z

Don Pooh was Foxy Brown manager and helped create the Firm and co executive produced the group.

Don Pooh used to be in the streets. But that's neither here nor there. He made the transition into the music biz. Now he's a successful restaurateur.




wow that's crazy, when I go to NY, I will have to try that.
